Choosing the Right Color For Your Clip In Hair Extensions
If you are not be able to find a color that matches your hair exactly, find one that blends well: only up to 2 shades lighter or darker from your color. Blending a color that is slightly lighter or darker than your own hair is likely to look more natural and will add depth and variance to your color.
Also, remember that human hair clip in extensions can be dyed. This is an option if you just can't find the right color with what's available. However, since the human hair extensions have already been color treated, you cannot lift the color from the hair -- which means you cannot make it lighter. If you need to dye the extensions to get your desired color, then choose a light colored extension and dye it darker.
